How to make a chinstrap.
  1. Cut 2 pieces of Japanese ear tape. one piece about 1-2" long and then another piece that would fit under the chin tip of ear to tip of ear.
  2. Cut the 1-2" piece in half and put aside.
  3. Cut 2 rectangles out of the long piece of tape. (see photo)
  4. fold over the short side onto the non cut side so that you are putting together tape to tape. you will have about 1" on either end of tape that is exposed. (see photo)
  5. Tada!! chinstrap is ready to apply. :)
Steps:
  1. Wipe the ears with alcohol using cotton balls (alcohol on the cotton balls) and let the ears dry for a MINIMUM of 30 minutes
  2. Create a chin strap. (see chin strap directions)

Helpful Info:
  • you can leave Japanese Ear tape on for UP TO 3 weeks
  • The chinstrap will loosen over time so when you notice the ears are going rose even when the tape is on, the chin strap is to loose. you need to either take the tape off and give it 1-3 days OR cut the chinstrap off and retape.
  • Unisolve will take off the glue residue and will take off the tape.
  • Once you used unisolve immediately take a flea comb and comb out the glue.
  • all items that are needed for this method (Japanese ear tape, flea comb, alcohol wipes, unisolve wipes) can be found when clicking on the red wording under items needed.
